Here is one of my very favorite ones: We are getting ready to work on summarizing story elements. The illustrations are great. We have enjoyed it so much that I'm looking for it in German original language! It will delight your students and is a great springboard for so many other activities. What did you think?

This is the first time I'm reading it. In an old Victorian home to a young girl named Alice Jayne and her eccentric relatives including prudish Aunt Figgy and world adventurer Uncle Theodore comes a mysterious, very hungry present a crocodile. There are so many simple pleasures to look forward to. The story unfolds in diary entries written by a spirited ten-year-old named Lucky Hart.

I think it was bad. Everyone has an opinion about what to do with him. Mom: And is there anything else you want to tell me? Uncle Theodore is huffing, Aunt Figgy is fretting, and Alice Jayne is tapping her foot—pretty subdued behavior considering the fact that a hungry crocodile has just appeared under the Christmas tree. Mom: What was your favorite part and how did it make you feel?

The The Christmas crocodile book text and bold images make this a perfect choice for toddlers and young preschoolers. If crocodiles eat you that would be bad. Bonny Becker is a master at word choice and includes a great number The Christmas crocodile book juicy words that can help to grow and develop your students' vocabularies in a big way.

The kids loved the book!!! My kids will get practice developing their fluency and expression with this poem as they ponder the problem of how to brush an crocodile's teeth. And will she and The Christmas crocodile book family survive till Christmas morning, with that naughty crocodile gobbling up everything in sight?

Mom: And is there anything else you want to tell me? You can find it here: Do you need the book? Top it off with a satisfying end to an unsustainable practice. Dad, from the other room: He and I have read it twice.

The culminating activity was reading the book Son: I really like crocodiles. We revisit it year after year. Son: Yeah because he didn't want to be made into a crocodile thing. What happens after this is not only Hilarious but surprising too! The books were in great shape, they came fast and I loved them.

Son: What I liked about it was I just liked the rhymes. Another thing is this super cute holiday shirt that I was gifted with. I recommend this story to children between the ages of If you go online under The Christmas Crocodile activities, you can find a whole unit of things to do with the story--crossword puzzles, shape words, unscramble words, words where you fill in the missing vowels, and many more.

Son: Why my favorite part was my favorite part is because at they end they're dressed in pinks. In an old Victorian home to a young girl named Alice Jayne and her eccentric relatives including prudish Aunt Figgy and world adventurer Uncle Theodore comes a mysterious, very hungry present a crocodile.

The illustrations are great. Son: I think he didn't like what the lady was doing He was wrapped with a red bow around his neck, but he ate it!

I think it's rhymed well and the story's really funny. She carefully opened it and found a note inside from Uncle Carbuncle. But Alice Jayne thinks the Christmas Crocodile deserves a real family. This eccentric family handles the mysterious reptile remarkably well, even though the beast seems to have an appetite as fierce as its legendary bite.
